Breathwork

Rebirthing... a consciously connected, circular, breathing technique discovered in the 1970s' by Leonard Orr. The name rebirthing comes from its origins. Redwood hot tubs were used to simulate the womb and birth memories were recalled from the subconscious mind by the use of the breath. These birth memories and the patterns surrounding them, called "birth scripts", are literally rewritten, utilizing affirmations. Leonard Orr's work furthered by Sondra Ray who uncovered the correlation between these "birth script" patterns in our lives and our relationships, and founded The Loving Relationships Trainings.

Through the rebirthing process, clarity of thought and a state of awareness is achieved. For approximately one hour the breather lies down and is coached and gently supported by a rebirther. Using this simple conscious circular breathing technique, done both in and out of water, the breather moves through a cycle, that uses the breath itself to oxygenate and energize the body. This powerful technique releases negative thoughts, that have been suppressed in the body's cellular memory and implanted in the subconscious mind. These old blockages and stuck patterns influence decisions about our world, relationships, bodies and lives. Letting go and releasing them through the breath shifts the breather to conscious clarity and peace of mind. Now that these old beliefs are changed there is greater joy, more ease therefore less stress, greater peace of mind, and clearer understanding. This opens wide the path to greater connection and blissful oneness with Source.
